Aled Powys Williams is a Classical Brit Award-winning singer and a former member of Only Men Aloud, winners of BBC’s Last Choir Standing.
A graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Aled is a versatile vocalist who has toured across the UK, Europe, and America, performing a wide range of styles, including oratorio, opera, musical theatre, swing, and jazz.
His theatre credits include roles in Carmen, The Magic Flute, Godspell, Sweeney Todd, and My Land’s Shore. Aled's television and radio appearances include Friday Night is Music Night and
Later…with Jools Holland, alongside performances at prestigious events such as the Royal Variety Performance and the Ryder Cup.
Most recently, he was a featured artist on Bryn Terfel’s latest album,
Sea Songs, and has been performing on luxury cruise liners both as a soloist and as a member of the vocal quartet The 4Tunes.

Alongside his performing career, Aled is a sought-after vocal coach and accomplished animateur. In addition to teaching privately, he currently provides vocal tuition for Cerdd CF Music and has previously taught at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (RWCMD).
He has worked extensively with organizations such as the
British Council, The Aloud Charity, ABC of Opera, CaST Cymru, BBC, and Welsh National Opera.
His projects range from vocal workshops to fully staged productions. Aled had the privilege of conducting Only Boys Aloud alongside Katherine Jenkins for the finale of the Coronation Festival at Buckingham Palace.

With nearly 20 years of experience as both a performer and
vocal coach, Aled brings a wealth of expertise to his students.
Fully enhanced DBS-checked and holding public liability insurance, Aled has also completed safeguarding training and undertaken additional training to support children and young adults with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
In his sessions, students can explore everything from vocal technique (including Estill) and vocal health to ear training and building a repertoire. He also focuses on song interpretation and performance skills to help bring out the best in each individual, whether they are preparing for auditions, exams, rehearsals, or the stage.
Sessions are suitable for everyone - from beginners discovering their voice to experienced singers looking to refine their craft.
